What is Obagi Blue Peel Radiance ®?

A blue peel is a professional chemical peel using various acids mixed with a blue base to deeply exfoliate skin, targeting signs of ageing, acne, sun damage, and uneven tone by removing outer layers and promoting new collagen for smoother, brighter, and firmer skin.

The blue tint helps practitioners see where the peel is applied, and while there's temporary redness and peeling (typically 7-10 days), it's a powerful treatment for significant skin rejuvenation, often requiring downtime.

What results can I expect from a chemical peel?

  • Appearance, leaves a temporary bluish tint that washes off, followed by significant peeling and darkening of the skin as it heals.

  • Improves brightness, smoothness, and helps with acne and blemishes.

  • Downtime; typically involves 5-7 days of peeling and social downtime, with the skin looking dry, red and flaking skin, before revealing new skin.
